Earl Grey Iced Tea

Necessities:

  • 18 grams of Traditional Earl Gray loose tea
  • 2.5 grams of dried Lavender or 4 to 5 non-dried stems with lavender blossoms
  • 500 ml of mineral water of 95 º
  • 500 to 650 ml ice cubes
  • 2 tea pots
  • 1 t-sac tea filter large

Prepare the two teapots and fill one teapot with the ice. Place the tea with the lavender in the other tea pot and top it off with the 500 ml of 95º water and let it brew for 2 minutes. When the tea is sufficiently brewed, pour the tea over the ice cubes through the t-sac tea filter. Let this rest for a while so that the tea cools off quickly. Through this process of rapid cooling, the tea develops a stable taste that does not become bitter. When all the ice cubes are dissolved, your iced tea is ready! Serve this with a slice of lemon or some non-dried lavender.
