Organic tea

What is organic tea exactly?

Tea is not always organic, which is quite strange given that it is a natural product. This all has to do with the way of cultivating and growing. This is because organically grown tea is grown without the use of chemical pesticides such as fertilizer. Many farmers opt for natural fertilizer that comes from plants and farm animals. This is not only better for the quality of the tea, but also for the environment because it prevents soil pollution.

The demand for organic products is increasing considerably, as is its popularity. This is all related to the trend of awareness with an eye for nature. New research and products ensure that organic cultivation is becoming easier.

The processing process of organic tea is often much more intensive, which in turn results in a lower production of the tea. One of the reasons is that plants that have been treated with natural fertilizer grow more slowly than with chemical fertilizer. The lower production leads to a higher number of working hours and that ultimately results in a higher price of the tea. More and more people are aware of certain quality marks and are willing to pay a higher price for this. Fortunately, they not only contribute to a good cause, but also drink better quality tea. Organic teas have a better taste, scent and colour. According to tea experts, these teas are "in balance".

With Tea Cultures' Tea Leaves Collection you can enjoy an organic cup of tea with the same distinctive quality Tea Cultures is known for.
